Buy Now: Consignors who are in possession of their items do not need to take action, as there is no set timeframe for when an item has to be sold. For items in Sotheby’s possession, the return can vary by department and a specialist will contact the consignor with next steps.

It is the consignor's responsibility to collect/arrange for the return of unsold property once it is agreed the item will no longer be pursued for sale.
